To support out team in Berlin or London office, we are looking for a Senior Requirements Engineer (m/f/d).

As a Senior Requirements Engineer you work in one of the key roles of our future target operating model. You will drive the Business forward by envisaging new ways of working as well as how to support them from a systems perspective. On the other hand, you will be the “glue” in the organisation, not only aligning Business, Product and IT but also joining processes with data. You will be able to take on a leading role in documenting high level business requirements in a professional manner not only in projects but also in BAU. You will role model and champion the whole chain starting with creation of the first high level idea down to testing and acceptance.
Especially in case of supporting projects, this position does involve business trips on a regular (e.g. biweekly) basis.

You are responsible for:

  • Continuously challenging the established ways of working to uncover improvement areas, based on user feedback, customer requirements or market developments
  • Supporting the Product team in establishing and maintaining the Product Roadmap
  • Making sure Business Needs and Business Architecture is aligned with the Technical Architecture the company operates
  • Support the creation of a comprehensive As-Is documentation of the business processes and make sure it is kept up to date
  • Create To-Be process for business improvements that will help to achieve and monitor the benefits of the respective change
  • Capturing high-quality business requirements in a way that makes them easily digestible by the development and test team both within structured JIRA tickets but also in collaboration / clarification sessions
  • Supporting the Business Analyst team in providing expertise and training on Requirements Management
  • Recommend on the setup of the Requirement Management Process in projects or maintenance  
  • Support the scoping of acceptance criteria and the outlining of test approaches
  • Providing statistics on the progress of the Requirements Management Process and actively working on the respective setup of tools to enable the tracking of Backlog, Progress and Quality
  • Supporting the Customer Engagement Process by presenting systems solutions alignment with business models

Minimum Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with the musical industry, ideally from multiple angles (companies)
  • Long time working experience in the area of Business Architecture, Business Analysis, Data-modelling and Requirements Management
  • Experienced in Process Management and Business Process Automation
  • Experience in scoping test requirements, creating test data and automating regression tests
  • Working experience with Jira in agile project environments
  • Strong analytical background and data-driven approach supported by the ability to extract and harmonise information from various sources
  • A technical background is highly appreciated, experience in big data and cloud based architecture is a definitive plus
  • Ability to detect and simplify logical structure in complex matters
  • Critical solution-oriented thinker with ability to spot and challenge questionable standards and practices
  • Able to lead, challenge and educate a team of less senior colleagues 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills on all levels of an organisation
  • Able to work with limited direction and able to embrace responsibility for subject matter areas
  • Able to provide clear status updates on progress to a broad audience
  • Educated to degree level, ideally with a numerate background
  • Fully fluent in English; German as a second language is welcome
