Our Licensing team negotiates deals with digital music services such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and many other services who rely on & benefit from music in their services.

Our Online Processing team innovatively address the data challenges involved in analysing epic volumes of global usage data to match written songs to recordings and calculate royalties based on terms from licensing deals. We collaborate widely across the industry to develop best practice.

Our Copyright experts consolidate complex song ownership data from multiple sources to provide the industry’s most authoritative rights picture, underpinning accurate songwriter payments from a wide range of sources.

Based in the UK, Germany and Sweden, with a multi-national team of 250+ committed colleagues working together each day to benefit rightsholders, this work has seen us distribute more than €1bn in digital royalties to our customers since 2016.

You are responsible for:

  • Supporting the formulation and communication of ICE corporate strategy & objectives
  • Presenting strategic recommendations to the CEO, leadership team and shareholders
  • Providing strategic support and direction on key commercial items
  • Executing strategy through the strategic planning process, objectives and KPI monitoring
  • Conducting modelling analysis to support strategic & high-level operational decisions
  • Researching the competitive landscape as well as potential growth opportunities
  • Contributing to decision-making on service and pricing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor, Master / Diploma or PhD in economics, mathematics, engineering, natural sciences, or in a comparable area with excellent grades.
  • 2+ years’ strategy experience either within a strategy consultancy or an in-house strategy team
  • Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills. Coding experience is a plus although non-essential.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Aptitude for navigating uncertainty, with patient, thoughtful, structured thinking and a principle-led approach. You instil confidence in others through your style.
  • Clear and confident communication tailored to the audience. High degree of empathy.
  • Data driven decision-making mentality. Strong numeric skills.
  • Foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and get consensus between them.
  • Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise based on multiple competing needs.
  • Helicopter your thinking between high-level strategic thinking and the execution level.
