Our customers include collecting societies, major and independent music publishers and digital service providers such as Facebook, Mixcloud and Soundcloud. We work to help ensure composers and songwriters are compensated accurately and fairly for the use of their Works.

We are looking for a Usage Reporting Manager to join our team in either our Berlin or Munich office. Please note this position has a 2 year limited contract with an opportunity to extend. 

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support in setting up, maintenance, and ongoing improvements for all Usage Reports sent to ICE from our Digital Service Provider partners, such as Spotify or Apple Music .

The person in this role will be in frequent communication with the DSPs, ensuring reporting formats are compatible to support a stable process-flow for all Usage Reports ICE is required to both send and receive on a regular cadence. Ensuring a stable process-flow will require the understanding of in-flux exchange rates, understanding and checking Headline-figures, and guaranteeing a correct licensing run will result in the right amount of funds being paid to the rightful owners.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Communicating with the DSPs to configure a proper Report

  • Testing of provided usage Reports

  • Receiving, reviewing, analysing, and checking for completeness across all incoming Usage Reports

  • Escalating situations with the DSP in-case of errors

  • Analyse results and errors from each of the imported reports

  • Communication with cross-functional teams as necessary to ensure a stable process-flow

  • Maintain and understand the importance of accurate exchange rates

  • Ongoing process documentation and improvement 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong MS Office skills, especially in excel

  • Interest in technical topics and database work 

  • Analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset

  • Ability to understand and articulate complicated subject matter 

  • Problem solving and the ability to manage a high volume of work

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills (English is our corporate language)

  • Experience with Database management - SQL Query skills is a plus

  • Knowledge of the Music Industry is a plus
